So you are new to this internet thingy or you just want to understand the way our site works ? Well first thing to know that we do our best to make it easy, quick and secure. Each step is designed to be self explanatory but we thought we would include this section to help. On entering the site most things our clearly marked, looking at the top we have the following options on a gray menu bar;

Home - Click here at any time to return to the start page
Login - Member get the option to login using there email address and password. As a member you have a special area called a profile. The profile stores details like your name and address, the items you have bought in the past, a list of items you might buy in the future. It also holds your email address and if you request it we can keep you informed. Membership is free and you don't even have to make a purchase. Just fill in the form you will see by click on the "login" or "create an account" link you'll see on the home page. To see an example of the create an account page click here
Specials - This is a direct to the list of items where we have reduced the price. This list changes regularly and as we often only stock one of each item it's very popular.
Latest Items - This is a list of new items that month, be warned though because if an item is just restocked it won't show up in this list. So it's always best to also check with a search.
Contact Us - Ways you can contact us and ask us questions. Please note, the phone number is only there as a reference. We seldom call people as we prefer using email. This helps us keep a record of all requests so they can be monitored.

Moving down from there we have the main window and to your left side we have our main menu. When you click on the side menu the content changes in the main window and it's here where all the real business is done on the site. When you have found an type of item you might want you'll want to see a listing of the ones we have in stock. To see an explanation of out product listings click here

From the listing you can see the titles and a small image of each product. By clicking on either you get to that products page. It's here that you can choose to add the product to your shopping cart. A shopping cart is in fact just as it says, you go around our shop placing items into the cart and then when you have all you want you look for the checkout. Our site has the same concept as any supermarket in that respect. To see an example of a product page click here

So now you've found an item you would rather like to buy, the price is right , the description is right and the image shows the condition is right. So you click "add to cart" and a few things happen. First the window changes to a screen which says "what's in my cart" and second the items details are added both to the cart page and the total at the top of the screen. The shopping cart page is a very detailed page and you may find yourself popping in and out of it as you add items. At the bottom you have choices to continue shopping or go to checkout. But note the window under that, this is the estimates shipping cost window. It's function is to give you the cost of the delivery before you decide if you want to buy. Once you have finished selecting item to buy you will want to pay for them. For this you simply click on the checkout button. Here's where you starting telling us about yourself unless you have already signed up as a member. We need just the information needed to delivered your order. The process goes as follows -

Delivery Information - At the top we have addressing, gift buyers use our site a lot and often they want to send an item to another address so the second part of the order details page has that option click here to see it. We try to give you as much choice as possible with delivery. We could just send all orders insured or recorded but some items are so cheap some people don't want to pay the extra cost. The third part of the order details lets you choose what way you want your order delivered and that is the cost which will be added to the order. The cheapest is in bold but that is not always the best, all compensation for lost or damaged goods is determined by the Royal Mail compensate and selection you make. Finally at the bottom you can add a message for us to read when processing your order.

Payment Information - Here you simply choose which way you want to pay.

Confirmation Page - A last check over the details before you commit to your order, if the order is right you just click "confirm order" To see this page click here

If you chose payment via post or paypal you will then be returned to your shopping cart which will now be empty. We will wait for you payment and your item(s) will be reserved for you. All cheque will need to clear so you should allow 7-10 days before we process your order.

If you chose to pay online using a credit or debit card the next page you see will be the WorldPay secure payment page. World pay are a Royal Bank of Scotland company. We pay them to handle our secure payment as do millions of other reputable companies. You may have seen a similar page on another site. The first choice you have is which card you are using to make your payment. Click here to see that screen. From there you will be asked for the details to make the payment. Rest assured the process is a lot quicker the read though all the above. We have tried to make it as intuitive as possible.

Now all you need to do wait for your order to arrive. We keep you informed by sending out emails at order - order processing and order dispatched.
